    Is the student Respectable, Accountable, and Punctual?
    As we transition into a world of Virtual School, PBSIS will carry on, strong and full of Piner Pride! We will be offering virtual incentive tickets and rewards for our students that step up and meet the challenge of this brave new learning environment.
    Students who meet the following criteria will be eligible to earn a PBSIS Virtual RAP Ticket and will be entered into our weekly drawing to receive an incentive. A total of 2 students each week from each grade level. (1 male student from each grade...1 female student from each grade) Staff members will be sending students virtual RAP tickets all week. These tickets are awarded to students who are able to transition and show evidence of being Respectful, Accountable, and Punctual in the virtual learning environment. What does this like at the LAKEWOOD MIDDLE CYBER SCHOOL?

    Respectful
    students’ postings and communication on Google Classroom are respectful
    student’s language and interactions on Google Meet are respectful

    Accountable
    students are submitting their Online Attendance Form each day
    students are checking in with teachers and submitting work each day
    students are reaching out for help and asking questions when needed
    students are communicating challenges and concerns with teachers and counselors

    Punctual
    students are submitting assignments within the required time frame
    students are attending live classes on Google Meet and logging in on time
    students are communicating access difficulties/reasons for missing live classes

  • LMS VIRTUAL MIX TAPES

    Music can be especially therapeutic in times like these. That’s why we wanted to create and memorialize our own Lakewood Middle School mix tape or soundtrack documenting our new reality through music. These are songs that our staff selected that helps them get up and ready to take on their umpteenth Google Meet. Songs that you’ll listen to as you hope for the pandemic to be over and songs to remind you of better days ahead.
